'Bachelor in Paradise' Adds One More to Cast

by Rachel Semigran

It was only a matter of time before Kaitlyn Bristowe would bid farewell to Bachelorette contestant Jonathan Holloway. As much of a charmer as he was, the two rarely spent much alone time together, and, now that this Nick character is in the picture, Jonathan's fate was pretty clear from the start of Monday's episode. Lest we forget that Holloway was also on Team Britt from the very beginning. Nevertheless, all was not lost for the Michigan native. He may have lost out on the rose ceremony, but he's about to start a whole new adventure. Yes, that's right: Holloway joined Bachelor in Paradise.

People Magazine reported on Tuesday that Holloway is the first Bachelorette contestant to hop from the New York City-based 11th season straight to Mexico to film Bachelor in Paradise. A tropical chance at love is not the worst gig in the world. Holloway will be part of a 16 person cast of both Bachelor and Bachelorette veterans, as well as one "mystery woman." Three more men from this season of The Bachelorette will join Bachelor in Paradise , but they have yet to be announced... or dismissed by Kaitlyn. Let's just hope producers don't bring Kupah back.

The Paradise cast includes Ashley Salter, Jade Roper, Clare Crawley, Tenley Molzahn, Carly Waddell, Jillian Anderson, Ashley Iaconetti, and Juelia Kinney for the ladies, which has me wondering if Chris Soules is going to show up and crash the party since the guests mostly come from his season.

On the fellas' side we've got Dan Cox, Kirk DeWindt, and Mikey Tenerelli. For these romantic hopefuls, nothing sets the mood quite like a tropical paradise. And, you know, 15 other people competing for each other. Things are certainly going to heat up even more on August 2 with Holloway on board.
