Ex-Mulberry Designer Emma Hill Is Back

by Stephanie Chon

About two years ago, we were all super sad to see Emma Hill leave Mulberry due to creative differences, but according to Women Wears Daily, she is getting back into the fashion game with a collaboration. Emma Hill partnered up with Georgina Fendley to create Hill & Friends, an upcoming accessories label. Fendley is a fellow former Mulberry brand director and the two are working diligently towards the label's debut in September for — yup, you guessed it — London Fashion Week.

If you've been itching to wear all the latest Hill designs, you'll be happy to know that you won't need to wait for the bags to reach retail stores. The collection will be available on Hill & Friends' website as well as on Net-a-Porter the day after its debut. In terms of retail locations, the brand is looking into London and New York — specifically Stateside, but nothing is set in stone just quite yet. There has also been some talk about Hill & Friends coming out with a ready-to-wear line, but at the moment the brand is choosing to concentrate solely on accessories.

I can't wait to see the direction that the creative director Johnny Coca will take the brand in. Looks like it's only going up from here!
