Twitter Reacts to Voting Rights Act Ruling

Well, this says it all.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 to strike down Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act, which means that state and local governments with a history of discrimination no longer have to get approval from the federal government to change their voting laws and procedures. We can only wait and watch to see what these governments will do to voting laws now that they're no longer being held federally accountable. (Someone put me in a time machine to the 2014 elections, please.)
