The 'Another Period' Cast Is Full Of The Funniest People In Showbiz
OK, so you're tastes in TV are a little varied, but so what if you like Downton Abbey and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Who made the rule book saying you couldn't care about aristocrats of both Yorkshire and Calabasas? You're cultured and you like to take in all different types of entertainment. At least this is what I tell myself every morning when I have a twinge of guilt for not watching more Ken Burns documentaries. Because we're so *cultured*, may I introduce you to the cast of Another Period , the Comedy Central show that is sure to become your new favorite series. A show that combines the era of Downton with the superfluous nature of KUWTK.
On this glorious new show, some of the funniest actors around join hands and say "A good morrow" to their new found fan base as the first family of reality TV. The Bellacourts hail from Newport, Rhode Island, and are the shining example of why reality television is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. The satirical, scripted, turn-of-the-century comedy follows the lives of the posh — and awful — Bellacourts, and of course, their servants. So who makes up Another Period? Allow me to introduce you to the cast, Real Housewives style.

Natasha Leggero As Lillian Bellacourt
What can I say about Natasha Leggero other than if she’s at the helm of this TV’s ship, I know we’re in good hands. Leggero has been slaying the past two Comedy Central roasts (James Franco’s and Justin Bieber’s). She has also been on TV shows like Marry Me, and Modern Family, and movies like Neighbors. She knows funny.
Along with her co-star Riki Lindhome, Leggero created, wrote, and produced the series where she’ll be playing Lillian Bellacourt. Lillian is one of two sisters who has been obsessed with the number of likes on her Instagram before Instagram was even created.
Riki Lindhome As Beatrice Bellacourt
Lindhome is the co-creator of comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates, which had it’s own series on IFC. She has been in shows like New Girl and Enlightened, along with movies like Last House on the Left.
Lindhome plays Beatrice Bellacourt, sister to Lillian. Equally obsessed with popularity and wealth.
Paget Brewster As Dodo Bellacourt
Doesn’t she look so fancy with her fascinator hat? Paget Brewster may look familiar and that’s because she’s been in, like, so many of my favorite shows (which I will list right now): Community, Criminal Minds, Friends (as Kathy, #TBT). She has also voiced quite a few characters in American Dad, and was the voice of Elise in Dan Vs.
On Another Period, Brewster will be Dodo Bellacourt, the matriarch of the family.
Christina Hendricks As Chair (Formerly Celine)
Christina Hendricks is also in this show. You obviously know Hendricks from her eight year stint on Mad Men for which she won multiple awards. She’s also been in I Don’t Know How She Does It, Drive, Life as We Know It, among many other TV shows and movies.
Hendricks will be played Chair/Celine on Another Period. She is a new servant to the Bellacourt house.
Michael Ian Black As Peepers
Michael Ian Black is also in the series. He is a hilarious actor who was in Wet Hot American Summer (2001) and will also be in the TV series, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, playing McKinley.
On Another Period, Black plays Peepers. Besides having an awesome name, Peepers is the head butler at the Bellacourt Manor.
Brett Gelman As Hamish
Brett Gelman has been in so many things, let’s go through a few of them. He was in the TV series of Bad Teacher, Married, Drunk History, Man Seeking Woman, and The Odd Couple. He’s also been in movies like The Other Guys, 30 Minutes or Less, and Jobs.
In Another Period, Gelman plays Hamish. Hamish is the guy that tends to Bellacourt Manor.
Jason Ritter As Fredrick Bellacourt
Jason Ritter, it’s good to have you. Ritter has been in so many things, and he’s definitely the guy you had a crush on during your childhood. Example one, Joan of Arcadia, where he played Kevin. He was also in Drunk History, Parenthood (Mark), Girls, and Gravity Falls.
Now, Ritter is playing Fredrick Bellacourt. Fredrick is the heir to the Bellacourt name, which is kind of scary considering he’s illiterate.
Brian Huskey As Victor
You know him, you love him. You are probably freaking out because he’s in Another Period. I’ve said it before, but what isn’t this guy in? He’s been in Neighbors, This Is the End, Step Brothers, Superbad, Veep, Bob’s Burgers, Selfie (RIP), and so much more.
On Another Period, he plays Victor. Victor is Lillian’s husband (Natasha Leggero), and Victor has an anger problem (and an affair problem).
Beth Dover As Blanche
Beth Dover is Blanche in Another Period. Blanche is the head housemaid at Bellacourt manor.
Dover has been in many recognizable titles before (OITNB, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh Off the Boat, and Childrens Hospital. But one that you really need to check out of hers if you haven’t yet: Burning Love, a satirical series of The Bachelor/ Bachelorette franchise.
Armen Weitzman As Garfield
Armen Weitzman (pictured on the left) plays Garfield in Another Period. Garfield is the “under butler” of the Bellacourt Manor. An under butler is basically the deputy to the head butler. Weitzman has been in movies like Role Model, Ocean’s Thirteen (lucky guy), No Strings Attached, and TV shows like Burning Love, and Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous.
