Crocs' Summer Fashion Show Was Totally Adorable

Favored for their sole-soothing comfort and grip, Crocs aren't ordinarily considered the fanciest of footwear, but that's part of what makes them great. The company recently proved that urbanity and sophistication isn't everything by hosting a Crocs Summer 2015 Fashion "funway" in New York City on June 23. In lieu of a traditional, low-lit runway populated with dower-looking models, Crocs employed a waterpark theme complete with smiling, synchronized swimmers. Funway, indeed!

The event drew familiar faces including Bella Thorne, who strapped on a pair of Crocs' freshly debuted black sandals to sit front row at the event. After guests had settled in, renowned swimming entertainment group the Aqualilies took center stage with a choreographed routine and a number of costumed, crocs-clad models flitted about the pool. If the objective of the quirky event was to encourage attendees to harken back to their youth by embracing the spirit of summer, mission accomplished. 1. Bella Thorne displayed her kicks with a chic romper

Channeling the event's idiosyncratic, amusement-driven theme to the utmost, Bella Thorne struck a pose in her printed black and white romper, paired with understated black Crocs.

2. Guests selected eccentric costumes for each model to sport down a waterslide

Utilizing the power of social media, Crocs allowed attendees — and users at home — to handpick costumes for models to sport during a spin down a five-story waterslide.

3. Costumed models shimmied poolside

A superhero, tango dancer, and wrestler took the poolside dance floor-meets-runway by storm with fierce moves made possible by their multicolored Crocs.

4. The Aqualilies performed

No poolside party would be complete without a performance by the venerable Aqualilies, who demonstrated their moves in and out of the water.
