Amanda Seyfried Is Giving Us Major Braid Inspo

Amanda Seyfried usually plays on the safe side of fashion, but the actress recently took a major style risk that totally paid off. Amanda Seyfried wore four edgy braids at the premiere of her new film Ted 2 in New York City, and the unexpected style looked absolutely stunning on her, obviously. Is there anything that doesn't look amazing on this blonde beauty?

As the leading lady of the highly anticipated sequel, I imagine Seyfried sought to stand out on the red carpet. Well, mission accomplished, because she definitely turned heads with this cool braided 'do. The 29-year-old's shiny blonde locks were woven into four tight partial cornrows that were clipped at the crown of her head and cascaded down the rest of her hair. Instead of keeping the tail end of her mane sleek, her tresses were subtly knotted at the very bottom — a cool and interesting twist that I haven't ever seen before, but am totally digging.

The rest of the ensemble was pretty killer too. Seyfried put an edgy twist on a classic LBD with cool asymmetric detailing a the shoulder. She paired the minidress with some cutout pointed toe stilettos and soft makeup that included a demure smoky eye and pale pink lips.
