Sandra Bullock Wore Minion Shoes — Really

Minions are a lot of things — the most popular Halloween costume of late (next to Queen Elsa, of course), a subject of equal measures of mad love and passionate vitriol (especially now that they have their own movie), and renowned lovers of bananas, are just a few things that pop to mind — but did you know they also happen to make ridiculously stylish accessories? Well, Sandra Bullock wore a perfectly minion-themed outfit to the recent Los Angeles premiere of Minions. Bullock coordinated with the yellow carpet in a graphic, modern Roksanda number, matching black and yellow sunnies, and the pièce de résistance — Rupert Sanderson-designed minion pumps.

The shoes in question (which came as part of the recent high-profile designer-studded Bello Yellow Collection with Selfridges) were the very picture of chic, with a minion eye featured on the classic point-toe, as well as on the sky-high stiletto heel. They had a very modern look, emphasized by the minimalist minion depiction, as well as some stylish leather fringe on the heel.

Sometimes, there's just nothing better than dressing on theme, huh? I mean, remember when Lily James walked the red carpet with an Olympia Le-Tan Cinderella book clutch? How about when Elle Fanning and Angelina Jolie respectively wore princess-themed and evil-themed shoes while promoting Maleficent ? Well, now it looks like Sandra's the latest to join the club, with her ultra-stylish minion pumps.
