13 Red Carpet-Ready Gowns From Armani Privé

by Rosie Narasaki

If the label's last collection was all about tulle polka dotted veils, Armani Privé Fall 2015 Couture line is all about neon, jewel-toned sparkle, with a healthy dose of Schiaparelli-esque shocking pink. As Giorgio Armani said to Vogue, "My first inspiration was to bring my drawings to life" — and part of that had a lot to do with the beautifully-rendered "courageous colors" that defined the collection. To pack even more punch to the self-described "Shocking!" show, the runway models all eschewed muted mauves and classic reds for eye-searingly fuchsia lips (let's hope that's the takeaway trend from this year's Paris Fashion Week, no?).

At any rate, Armani Privé has been everywhere these days, no? Cate Blanchett's shown a liking for a few artfully-bowed numbers (both in equally fabulous gown form and suit form), Emmy Rossum memorably wore the brand at the 2015 SAG Awards, and Sarah Paulson even wore a delightfully loofah-esque ball gown from the line at last year's Emmys. Suffice it to say, Mr. Armani knows how to do red carpet dramarama right — and their new Fall 2015 Couture collection, is certainly no exception. So, with that in mind, here are 13 numbers that should really be making their way to international film festivals, award shows, and galas:

Funny that this is actually one of the more tame pieces from the collection...
