Carole Radziwill's Net Worth Is Bananas

by Marenah Dobin

I am a reality TV junkie. I love to watch "real" people interact and live their lives. But that can be a little boring, depending on the show. One thing more interesting than watching "real" people is watching people who really rich. Like really, really rich. Enter the Real Housewives franchise. A lot of these ladies are in a higher tax bracket than I could ever dream of and they are at the top of the social ladder in their respective cities. And Carole Radziwill from Real Housewives of New York is one of them. Radzi is the real deal. Not only is she super successful in her own right, but she is an actual princess and distantly related to the Kennedy family. This means that Carole has to be pretty rich. I always wondered why she has the most laid back personality out of all the New York City Housewives, but it's probably because she's worry free thanks to her fortune. Carole Radziwill's net worth is pretty typical Carole, but it's still pretty mindblowing.

Let's just cut to the chase here, Carole supposedly has be a whopping $50 million in the bank according to Celebrity Net Worth (so take that with a grain of salt, but know, this woman definitely has a serious bank account). And I don't know about you, but this is pretty shocking considering that she's a grown women who had the kitchen removed from her apartment, but if that's true, it means that she has the highest net worth out of all the New York Housewives.

How did she get to this point though? I know she's a writer, but she has only published three books so I am pretty curious about how this all adds up to that supposed $50 million...

Books

We all know that Carole is a writer, but so am I and I'm not worth $50 million. So how successful is she? Carole has the distinction of being on the New York Times Bestseller list. Her first book What Remains: A Memoir of Fate Friendship and Love even made a second appearance on the esteemed list when Carole joined the RHONY cast. Her novel The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating is a fictional work, but the best art is inspired by real life, so the fans have been reading it trying to link it to Carole's interesting personal life and I'm sure this has added intrigue to its sales. Carole even wrote a book about her time on the Bravo series called The Madcap Tales of My Year on The Real Housewives of New York . It seems to me that the combination of her writing ability, intriguing personal life, and Real Housewives fame means that her books will continue to sell and make her even more money.

Broadcast Journalism

Carole worked her way up to be a respected journalist. She was an unpaid intern on 20/20. Then she became a production secretary for the show ABC Close-Up .From there she worked as a news anchor for ABC. She won several awards for her work including several Emmy's and a Peabody award. It's very clear that Radzi was a hard worker and very successful at her job so I am sure that once she starting racking in those accolades that her pay increased.

Royalty

Carole was married to Prince Anthony Radziwill before his untimely death from cancer. This marriage means that Radzi is actually a Polish princess and this probably means that she is pretty well taken care of. And on top of being actual royalty, this marriage makes Carole a distant relative of America's royal family, The Kennedys. It's safe to assume that these royal connections have contributed to the reality star's net worth.

Celebrity Lunches

Carole had a regular column for Glamour called "Lunch Date" where she wrote about going on lunch dates to interview celebrities like Antonio Banderas, Alec Baldwin, and Ashton Kutcher. Carole kept the successful column going for two years. There's no way she didn't rake in some cash for that endeavor.

Reality Television

Of course I couldn't neglect the obvious: Carole isn't putting her personal life out there on Real Housewives of New York City for free. The woman is hilarious and brings a great perspective to show so I don't see Bravo letting her go any time soon. The viewers love watching Carole on Real Housewives and I imagine that Bravo pays her pretty well to remain on the show.

Learning about all of Carole's accomplishments really makes me feel unworthy. She is good at so many things. The woman has success in so many different areas and that has all added up to her net worth. The only thing I don't get is how someone with such great fortune is actually the most down-to-earth cast member on the show. Could her life be any more perfect? Nope.
