Amy Schumer Gets Emotional With Jimmy Fallon

by Orli Matlow

Amy Schumer must be on a rollercoaster of emotions. On Wednesday night, she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk Trainwreck, and played one of Jimmy's signature games: the Emotional Interview. Amy and Jimmy were having a normal conversation but were given cues of emotions and scenarios to play out during. Things get condescending, tipsy, and fake nice. Naturally, considering who we're talking about, Schumer's Emotional Interview on Fallon was completely hilarious.

The comedian is on fire. Her show, Inside Amy Schumer, has finally reached the level of prominence and acclaim it deserves in its third season, and it feels like all eyes are on her. She's riding the wave of success to full movie stardom, with Trainwreck, the movie she both wrote and stars in, comes out on Friday, and is getting incredible reviews. It currently is at an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes — which is no small feat — and Vulture ranked it as one of the top three Judd Apatow movies of all time. Yes, people are saying that Trainwreck is better than modern classics Knocked Up and Superbad, and we couldn't be happier.

Schumer is in the midst of the media blitz to promote the movie, and is nailing it every step of the way. She is on the cover of GQ this month, bringing everybody's Star Wars fantasy to life, and is also on the cover of Glamour. Her appearance on Fallon was just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the video, and other sketches where she shows off her emotional range.

Afraid

Is there anything scarier than a herpes scare? Schumer pleads with God (as played by Paul Giamatti) to show her mercy.

Determined

When Schumer receives a text seeing if she was DTF for the night, she is determined to make sure she's in perfect condition, which includes getting her a**hole reshaped.

Competitive

Schumer goes on a gameshow to prove she's more over her ex, and things get intense.

"So Bad"

Eating habits, shmeating habits. "Do you know what mini means? It's smaller than big."

Narcissistic

Schumer gives an epic toast (and eulogy), upstaging the bride (and deceased). There's never a bad time for a rhyming couplet.

Sexy

If you haven't seen this video yet, it's just the best, and a perfect parody of the Year of the Butt — "I'm gonna make you scream and shout from the part of my body that poop comes out." When it comes to comedy, Schumer nails it every time.
