The 2015 Emmy Nominations Are Here

You know it's got to be a special occasion when everyone is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed early on a Thursday morning in the middle of summer, and that's certainly the case here. Orange is the New Black actress Uzo Aduba and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley revealed the 2015 Emmy nominations on July 16, and not a moment too soon. After all, the awards show honors the best the television world has to offer, and given how much time we all spent in front of our TVs, laptops, iPads, etc., it's obviously an important and much-anticipated event. And while the actual ceremony is still a few months away, at least we know the competition, and can start making predictions as to who will be going home with those golden statues.

Of course, now that we know this year's Emmy nominations, things get even more complicated. What do you do when two of your favorite actors or shows are up against one another in the same category? It's a tough position to be in, but one that's kind of win-win, if you think about it. After all, it means you're twice as likely to see one of the nominees you're rooting for taking home a prize, which is always a good thing, and is all the more reason to tune in on September 20.
