This Grilled Cheese Hack Is Genius

A properly made grilled cheese sandwich is indisputably a work of art, but even the crispiest, meltiest, most golden sandwich of them all has nothing on this fantastically cheesy creation — grilled cheese dunkers. Dreamt up by food blogger and Instagrammer Tym Bussanich, this wondrous specimen of true culinary genius is essentially a grilled cheese sandwich rolled up, and it's practically begging to be served alongside a steaming hot bowl of tomato soup. Are you hungry yet? Yeah, I bet you are.

First picked up by Foodbeast, Bussanich's grilled cheese dunker is the ultimate solution for anyone who has ever felt like the classic sandwich layout just isn't quite ideal for dipping. "Never have trouble stuffing your grilled cheese sandwich in your cup of soup again," Bussanich says on his blog, where he provides an impossibly easy step-by-step tutorial on how to replicate this brilliant food hack in your own kitchen. The recipe pretty much speaks for itself: flatten out a piece of bread, layer it with all the cheese you want, and roll it up into a log shape. Then slather it with butter, throw it in a frying pan, and grill it up the way you would a normal sandwich. When you're done, it should look a little something like this:

Dying to see more because you're still not quite sure what sorcery your eyes have landed upon? I've got you:

And in case that's not enough either, you greedy little cheese fiend, here's a video where Bussanich shows you just how exactly this magic is done:

As it turns out, this isn't the first time Bussanich has set out to blow our grilled cheese loving minds. The self-described "man with a pan" has dedicated his Instagram account to making you feel as hungry as humanly possible thanks to his insane food projects... most of them starring cheese. Among his greatest hits, we've also got:

The Mac And Cheese Chili Burger

Yup, that "bun" is made entirely out of mac and cheese. I don't understand it, but I like it.

The Cheesinator

I didn't come up with that name — Bussanich did. But I mean, how else do you describe this melty, deep-fried, bacon-wrapped burger?

Tater Tot-Covered Onion Rings... Dipped In Cheese

I'll take about a million of these, please.

Who's ready for lunch?
