The Best Porn Sites For Women Are..

Not that it should be some sort of breaking news, but women watch porn. Although a 2013 Pew Research Center report found that only eight percent of women admitted to watching online porn, the same study found that only 25 percent of men admitted to it, too, which I think means some people aren’t being entirely honest. I don’t know a single woman who doesn’t watch porn.

When PornHub researched the “who’s watching online porn and who’s not” question at the end of 2014, they found that 23 percent of viewers worldwide are women, and 15 percent of them were women in the United States. While it’s a jump from the eight percent that Pew Research Center found, it still feels relatively low. But either way, some women are watching it and those who do are clearly enjoying it.

What PornHub also found with their 2014 Year in Review is that when it comes to search terms, men and women couldn’t be more different. For both straight and gay woman, “lesbian” was searched most, and women search “eating pussy” 901 percent MORE than men do. These findings are a clear indication to what women want to see, and your usual run-of-the-mill gang-bang and anal sex stuff just isn’t cutting it. Women need porn that fulfills our desires, instead of making us feel bad or grossing us out. Let’s be honest, a lot of straight porn is nasty and degrading, and not in a consensual, “that’s so hot” sort of way.

So, Cosmopolitan’s Jill Hamilton, decided to take matters into her own hands, so to speak, and research the best porn sites women. Her focus was on what's “woman-friendly" porn, as in not making you feel like a piece of meat or dead inside after watching it. She rated 15 sites she found from one to five, with Ron Jeremy being one and James Deen (obvs) being five ― because what’s a porn site rating system if you don’t use two of the most famous porn stars in the world?

Here are the top 10 porn sites for women based on the Ron Jeremy – James Deen rating system from Cosmo.

10. Beautiful Agony

Rating: 4/5

Out of Netherlands comes Beautiful Agony. Fairly reminiscent of the “O” face posters for last year’s Nymphomaniac by Lars von Trier, the main page is covered in faces of people in throes of pleasure. Because of its focus on faces, you don’t have to worry about running into a gang-bang situation. It costs $14.95 to be a member, but you do get free previews if you want to check it out right now.

9. I Feel Myself

Rating: 4/5

I Feel Myself is loaded with over 300 videos of women making themselves come, and the best part is that the women submit the videos themselves, so you don’t have to wonder if there’s some jackass porn director behind the scenes being awful. The monthly membership will run you $29.95, but you will get some free videos in the process.

8. XConfessions

Rating: 4/5

Erika Lust is the brain behind XConfessions, a place where women’s desires come first. Each month Lust chooses two fantasies submitted by members and turns them into erotic films, (which makes me want to sign up right now to be honest, because my mind is a different place that needs to be shared in film!) Not only are there women in front of the camera, but behind the camera, too, and the whole production is as feminist as porn can be.

7. Naughty Foreskin

Rating: 4/5

If foreskin isn’t your scene, then Naughty Foreskin isn’t for you. Also, if you’re not into gingers, then you probably want to pass, because basically it’s just a ginger dude with foreskin jerking off all the time. You never see his face so you can fantasize he looks like Prince Harry, if you want. It’s also free, and everyone loves free.

6. Sounds Of Pleasure

Rating: 4.5/5

Although the name Sounds of Pleasure is pretty damn cheesy, according to Hamilton, what makes it so intriguing is the fact that there are no visuals and just the sound of people having sex. It’s also free, so maybe you can trade in your ocean wave sounds that help you sleep for the moaning of people banging instead.

5. Lady Cheeky

Rating: 4.5/5

Where Lady Cheeky wins is with its “Smut for Smarties,” that's geared toward people who want to feel smart and classy ― and it’s free! Now you can drown yourself in artsy black and white photos, GIFs, and sexy stories and not feel like a porn-obsessed creep in the process.

4. Orgasmic Tips For Girls

Rating: 5/5

Focusing on body positivity, Orgasmic Tips for Girls basically feels like a slumber party where women get together to discuss relationships, body issues, and all things sex. Women can also upload and share porn that they like and it’s all for free. Pillow fight!

3. PornHub (The Gay Porn Part)

Rating: 5/5

Although gay sex as a way to get turned on has never been my thing, Hamilton swears by it. As she explains about PornHub’s gay section: “A lot of women, gay and straight, like to watch men doin' it because (1) the men are generally kind to each other, (2) they seem to be actually into it, plus, (3) double the penises!” It’s free, too. So there you go.

2. Hysterical Literature

Rating: 5/5

When I first heard about Hysterical Literature last year, I was immediately excited about the concept. The free art project by Clayton Cubitt includes women reading a book of their choosing while someone stimulates them with a vibrator under the table. As the women get closer and closer to orgasm, they struggles to remain focused on the book. It ends up being both hot and super interesting to watch someone come without the usual porn stuff that can be overwhelming.

1. James Deen

Rating: 5/5

Not that we should be even remotely surprised by this, but James Deen, the cutie porn star with the boy next door looks, gets a 5/5 rating for his site. (My heart is all the flutter at just the thought of him.) Deen’s site is awesome and hot, and has come along way in the last couple years (I think he may have finally gotten and editor for it actually.) And while it may cost you $29.99 a month, or three months for $19.98, it’s worth it. I mean, it’s James-f*cking-Deen. Dude is so hot, that I just CAN’T EVEN.
