Another day, another head-turning candle from Goop, but this time, Poosh is involved. On the June 2 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney talked to fellow lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow about creating a collaboration between their health and wellness companies Goop and Poosh for a candle that smells like Kardashian’s “Pooshie,” which is inspired by Paltrow’s vagina candle.

While visiting the Goop offices, Kardashian opened up about her relationship with Travis Barker, who she married in Italy on May 22, and Paltrow gave some advice about blending their families before explaining why she wants to work with her: “I think it’s such a cool opportunity for two females in the wellness space to come together and sort of rebuke that idea that there’s not enough space for everybody in how they want to show up and contribute to the wellness world.”

While testing out scents with her assistant, Kardashian expanded on the concept behind their collab. “You know how she does the candles like, ‘Smells Like My Vagina’? This is gonna be called, ‘Smells Like My Pooshie,’” she revealed.

Kardashian agreed with Paltrow’s mission statement of their union, admitting in a confessional that people have always tried to pit the two brands against each other. “I do find [Gwyneth] really inspiring in that I feel like she’s got purpose and positivity with all that she’s doing,” she said. “When I came out with Poosh, people loved to compare us and make us like we’re enemies and like I’m coming for her territory. I really love the idea of doing something together to really show that there is room for everybody.”

It’s a message that the two are promoting to this day. On May 24, Paltrow shut down rumors that there’s any bad blood between Goop and Poosh on her Instagram Story, calling the idea “legacy patriarchy bullsh*t,” while praising Kardashian. “There is room for EVERY woman to fulfill her dreams,” she wrote. “I used to fall prey to this kind of thinking years ago, so I understand where it comes from. Now I get so happy when I see new wellness businesses, there is a place for all of us. @kourtneykardash is a really good person and also #KRAVISFOREVER.”

Speaking of Kravis, Barker already has a leg up on Goop and Poosh’s upcoming collab, which does not yet have a release date. Back in May 2021, the Blink-182 rocker made a custom candle based off Goop’s headline-making “orgasm” scent — except he called his candle “This Smells Like Kourtney’s Orgasm.” Nothing says true love like turning your loved one into a household scent.
