Khloé Kardashian is finally setting the record straight. Amid increased speculation that the Good American founder has gone under the knife, the reality star finally addressed the rumors during her family’s tell-all with Andy Cohen. In part two of the special, which aired on June 20, the 35-year-old reality star admitted that she has had plastic surgery — but not as much as fans might think.

“For me, everyone says, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant,’ but I’ve had one nose job,” Kardashian revealed. “And everyone gets so upset, like, why don’t I talk about it. No one’s ever asked me.” Apart from her one rhinoplasty, Kardashian admitted that she’s also tried injections in the past but had a bad reaction. “I’ve responded horribly to Botox,” she said.

Kardashian’s decision to get a nose job came after years of criticism over her appearance. “Interestingly enough, I was so confident and secure before the show,” she admitted. But when people started hurling insults her way, it chipped away at her self-image. “That’s when I became hard on myself because I was like, ‘Oh, this is how other people perceived me,’” she said. “I became insecure because of what everyone else [was] telling me.”

It also didn’t help that the reality star noticed a big difference in how she was being treated compared to her older sisters, Kourtney and Kim. “We did so many photo shoots where they would receive racks and racks of clothes and I was told by so many different stylists, I was given about two or three pieces of clothing but not to worry because I would be in the background anyway,” she said.

Unfortunately, the insecurities that stemmed from these negative experiences have stuck with Khloé to this day. In early April, for example, Kardashian attempted to have an unedited photo of herself wearing a bikini scrubbed from the internet. Later, she addressed the unauthorized and unretouched swimsuit image in a post she shared on social media about body image.

“As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point — and then shares it to the world — you should have every right to ask for it not to be shared — no matter who you are,” she wrote. Per Page Six, the photo was accidentally shared on social media by an assistant.

“It’s almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards that the public have all set for me,” she continued. “For over a decade now in photos, every single flaw and imperfection has been micro-analyzed and made fun of to the smallest detail and I am reminded of them everyday by the world.” The reality star also said that she will continue using filters and editing photos to present herself to the world the way she wants to be seen. “It’s not for anyone to decide or judge what’s acceptable or not anymore,” she wrote.

Kardashian closed out her statement with a message for those who struggle with similar body image issues. “I want you to know I see you and I understand,” she wrote, explaining that no matter how many times her family and friends tell her she’s beautiful, it must be felt within. “I have realized that we cannot continue to live life trying to fit into the perfect mold of what others have set for us. Just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”
