It’s been a long time coming, but singer Pixie Lott and her long term partner Oliver Cheshire have finally tied the knot. After a five-year engagement (in part because of lockdown restrictions) the couple exchanged vows at Cambridgeshire’s striking Ely Cathedral, with petals and flowers dotted throughout.

Lott sported a loose, wavy hairstyle, alongside yellow diamond earrings and an embellished Schiaparelli dress with mesh detailing. The event was a star-studded affair too, with Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, McFly’s Danny Jones, and TOWIE’s Tom Pearce in attendance. Looking thrilled, the newlyweds left the cathedral as they were showered with pastel yellow and white petals by guests.

According to OK!, guests were given welcome packs. They included a bottle of champagne, hand cream, ibuprofen, a mini bottle of vodka, and a thank you note. Making matters even more glamorous, Givenchy provided glam stations for the occasion too.

In March, Lott explained that she and Cheshire made the decision to postpone their wedding date more than once, because of lockdown. “I didn't want to do it when there were restrictions, and we couldn't invite everyone we wanted to because of the rules,” she told OK!. “I wanted to wait until we could have the big party - our wedding will be a big party." Well, that would certainly explain the ibuprofen in the gift boxes.

The now-married pair met at a Select Models event in 2010, per The Sun. Cheshire proposed to the singer in 2016 on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral, and were due to get married in 2020. Back in 2017, Cheshire told City A.M their relationship was “just like any other relationship” and that they “try and keep things as private as possible”.
