While the pandemic put a pause on gigs and festivals throughout 2020, Little Mix decided to put out their sixth studio album anyway. Confetti was the injection of glam pop that lockdown needed. However, there's bad news for fans who were excited to see Little Mix tour in 2021. The band went through some serious changes last year and their latest announcement suggests 2021 may be a bit unpredictable too.

Little Mix were due to hit the road for the Confetti 2021 tour in April. Their first date was in Dublin and the tour finished in Manchester on May. 29. However, on Feb. 8 they announced this will no longer be the case. The tour will be postponed until 2022. They wrote, “You know how much we love being on the road and performing every night for you all. However, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, we must prioritise the safety of our fans and crew and help to stop the spread.”

Tickets had already gone on sale for the tour, which would have started in twi months. Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall reassured their fans that that their tickets would remain valid for the 2021 dates and the band announced an extra performance in Cardiff, too.
