England's Lionesses have brought it home, and we couldn’t be happier. Facing Germany in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 Championship final, Ella Toone scored the first goal, followed by Chloe Kelly's nail-biting kick during extra time that secured England's 2-1 win. As a result, the Lionesses broke the near six-decade curse, winning the first major international trophy since the 1966 World Cup. Not only that, but the final was the highest attended Euros match ever, topping attendance at the 2021 Euros with 87,192 people in Wembley's stands.

Millions more were watching at home, including royalty and celebrities alike. Queen Elizabeth shared her congratulations, calling England's win "a significant achievement for the entire team” and telling the players that the “success goes far beyond the trophy you have so deservedly earned." Her Majesty continued: "You have all set an example that will be inspirational for girls and women today, and for future generations. It is my hope that you will be as proud of the impact you have had on your sport as you are of the result today."

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were among the royal well-wishers, joined by pop royalty like Adele and the Spice Girls — particularly Mel C and Geri Halliwell, who were in the stands together. Even Canadian pop icon Shania Twain was in on the action, exclaiming, "Let's f**king go girls!"

David Beckham, Coleen Rooney, Marinda Hart, and players from England's Euros 2021 squad shared their congratulations, among other notable names in entertainment and politics. Below are just some of the best celebrity reactions to England's Women's Euro 2022 win.
