The Best Of Harry Potter #Bookstagram

by Julia Seales

I love seeing photos of Harry Potter-related things, because it reminds me of how much I love the series. From cool HP-inspired tattoos, to photos of costumes from the Potter movies, there are so many amazing images inspired by the wizarding world. Of course, nothing can replace the mental images the series inspires, but there’s something awesome about seeing what’s inside your mind displayed in real life.

If you’re still a HP purist, though, and love the books more than the movies, the images you probably love most are photos of the books themselves. And truly, these are some of the best HP-inspired photos, because there are some beautiful Harry Potter collections out there. Remember how it felt the first time you read the books? Maybe you received Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone as a gift, or maybe you just stumbled upon it in a bookshop, or maybe it had been on your shelf forever and you finally picked it up to discover the magic inside. However you first discovered Harry Potter, these beautiful images will capture the enchanting feeling of the series just by displaying the books themselves. It’s ok — you can totally judge these books by their covers.

1

The Letters From No One

I love this photo because it represents how it feels to read HP: you can almost see the letters fluttering down all around you, inviting you to join the Golden Trio at Hogwarts.

2

The Full Collection

BRB while I buy all the Harry Potter Funko Pop figures.

3

The Illustrated Collection

This pop figure collection tosses in Dumbledore, and the books include the illustrated Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone — a truly beautiful edition of the first book.

4

Fantastic Beasts

The story doesn't end with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — or rather, it goes back further than Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This lovely photo features the extras of the wizarding world: Quidditch Through the Ages and of course, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

5

Autumn Illustrated Books

The illustrated Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is now also available, and this lovely autumn photo features both illustrated novels. It makes me want to pick them up and browse the pages.

6

The Prisoner of Azkaban

This gorgeous Bloomsbury edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is seriously irresistible — I bought a copy at Platform 9 3/4 and couldn't stop staring at the gorgeous, luminous cover.

7

A Typical Afternoon

This is a normal afternoon, right?

8

The Juniper Books Collection in Ravenclaw

This is a lovely set of custom HP books (available from Juniper Books). Ravenclaw is pictured above, but you can also get this collection in Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff.

9

Boxed Collection

If I owned this collection, it would probably never look complete because part of the castle would always be on my nightstand.

The Best Gift Ever

Whether you're giving or receiving, this would be a lovely bundle to unwrap.
