by Kiersten Hickman

Easter may be around the corner, but that shouldn’t stop you from taking a fun adventure during your long weekend. Especially if you’re feeling antsy at home and would rather explore. So why not take a spontaneous adventure this upcoming weekend with one of these cheap Easter travel ideas? All of these destinations are the perfect day-trip if you’re in the area, or if you’re extra adventurous, find yourself a room at a boutique inn or find a place to stay on Airbnb. Whatever you decide, I promise it’s not too late to take an adventure.

I’m always a fan of the spontaneous adventure. Honestly, I think it just makes life way more exciting. Finding new places to explore, living like a local, experiencing and recording new things. And a long weekend like Easter is the perfect time to do so. Even if money is tight, these destinations are a cheap getaway (obviously if you avoid shopping sprees, pack food to bring with you, and so on).

Some of these destinations are adventurous, but others are very relaxing. Easter weekend is all about rejuvenating the soul, so take some time to reawaken your senses and reflect on the things that bring you joy — and do so either on a beautiful beach, overlooking a mountain, or a huge field of tulips.
