'Big Little Lies' Quotes That Will Make You Want To Read The Novel ASAP

by Sydney Rappis
HBO

If you haven't been living under a rock for the last month, you probably heard that the Big Little Lies series premiered on HBO. Based on the book by the same name by Liane Moriarty, the show stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley as three mothers of first graders in an affluent beachside neighborhood whose seemingly perfect lives unravel, dramatically. It's not too late to start watching if you haven't already — the seventh and final episode airs on April 2nd, and hopefully, every single question will be answered.

As fantastically addicting as the show is, the book is infinitely more complex and engaging. Whether you have watched the show or not, Liane Moriarty's novel is a fascinating examination of life surrounding Pirriwee Public School. As fun as it is to see Reese Witherspoon in her "glittery" outfits, the book is written in such witty and accessible tone that you will not be able to put it down — even if you already know how it ends. If you are still not convinced that the book is more than worth your time, these quotes will convince you to pick up Big Little Lies as soon as possible.
