These Are All The 2018 Golden Globe Predictions You Need To Read

A24

The end of 2017 is near and that means that the 2018 Golden Globes are fast approaching. Fans and movie executives alike are anxious to see which films will get that coveted Golden Globes boost. The nominees won't be announced until Dec. 11, but until then we have some pretty good 2018 Golden Globe nomination predictions. Granted, these predictions are still subject to change — given the volatile nature of Hollywood right now, it's quite possible an award front-runner will be derailed by some horrific behind-the-scenes misconduct or scandal. However, barring any big dust-ups, the 2018 Golden Globe nominations are shaping up to be pretty predictable.

Making predictions for the Globe nominations can normally be tough, especially when half the prestigious awards movies don't come out until Christmas. But, with a little help from critics, awards season buzz, and some good, old fashioned guess work, the 75th Golden Globe Award nominations are relatively easy to pin down. That said, this particular awards show is known for their out of the box nominees. Every year, there are a few surprises in the mix, and you never know when the Globes are going to throw us for a loop. With that in mind, here are Bustle's best 2018 Golden Globe nomination predictions.

Looking at these predictions, it's clear that female stories — movies and television shows about women — are finally getting their moment to shine. And, after a year of Hollywood being overrun by stories of sexual harassment and misconduct behind the scenes, seeing women-driven stories dominate this awards season is just what the doctor ordered.

The 75th Golden Globe Awards are set to take place on Jan. 7, 2018, with Late Night host Seth Meyers taking over the festivities for the first time. May the best man, woman, movie, or show win.
