Since I review sex toys for a living, pretty much every new technology that comes out gets sent to me. Yet somehow, I haven't gotten bored with it. Just when I think I've tried every sex toy out there, something new always comes along to surprise me. If you feel like you've tried everything, I can almost guarantee you haven't.
Many sex toy designers create products for the purpose of expanding people's sexual repertoires — and expanding their minds in the process. "Sex toys can actually be a unique, and pleasurable, way to learn more about your body via stimulation and experimentation," Alicia Sinclair, CEO of b-Vibe and Le Wand, tells Bustle. "My goal when designing sex toys is to optimize pleasure through the product design and the resulting user experience. That means, before I begin to develop a product, I spend months researching not only the targeted area of stimulation, but also what users (or potential users) might know about those areas of the body."
