Ivanka Trump has recently been confronted with mounting criticism in response to her silence on women's issues while filling a role in which supposedly champion female empowerment. In an interview with NPR regarding Ivanka's new, unpaid White House position, her lawyer insisted that she intends to "spend some time on initiatives that she cares about, particularly with regard to women in the workplace." But, considering her silence on — or explicit support of — her father's initiatives, you'd be justified in being skeptical. You might also be wondering how to let Ivanka know that you don't completely trust the narrative she's pushing.

After being branded a hypocrite on social media for tweeting support of income equality on Equal Pay Day while not acknowledging the fact that her father had, on the very same day, signed an executive order revoking the 2014 Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces implemented by President Obama, Ivanka appeared on CBS This Morning to insist that her lack of outspokenness against the president's decisions shouldn't be automatically interpreted as support. She told Gayle King:

"I think there are multiple ways to have your voice heard. In some cases, it’s through protest and it’s through going on the nightly news and talking about or denouncing every issue on which you disagree with. Other times it is quietly and directly and candidly. So where I disagree with my father, he knows it."

Here are some ways you can make Ivanka hear your voice.

1. Boycott Her Products & Their Retailers

Refusing to financially support the first daughter's business empire is a definite way to get her attention. Several retailers, most notably Nordstrom, have pulled Ivanka Trump products from their stores.

2. Start A Petition

Or sign one that already exists. Regardless of whether or not the specific demands in a petition are met, those that manage to garner a significant number of signatures do succeed in getting attention from the media, the general public, and those addressed in the petition.

3. Organize A Protest

If she was home at the time of the protest pictured above, Ivanka definitely heard those demonstrators' voices.

4. Use Social Media

While she claims to not be too active on social media in order to be more productive and effective, there is no doubt that the roasts she gets on sites like Twitter and Instagram do actually have an effect on the president's oldest daughter.

5. @ Her Directly

Don't just generally Tweet or publish Facebook posts about Ivanka — make sure you directly mention her social media handles. Also voice your concerns on her public social media pages, not just on yours.

6. Support Groups In Ivanka's Name

If she won't speak publicly about her political beliefs — which she has reportedly described as "socially liberal" but "fiscally conservative" — or support groups that work to improve women's lives, donating in her name is a great way to both aid these organizations and make the first daughter notice. In November, over 50,000 people sent donations to Planned Parenthood in Vice President Pence's name.

7. Contact Her Company

Sure, you may not get to speak directly with the president's daughter, but if enough people reach out to Ivanka Trump HQ, she should eventually get word of the pressure those running her business are facing.

The best part is, most of these actions are simple enough to take right away.
