Yes, the writing was on the wall, but a lot of the Bachelor Nation members were looking for an official answer to the status of a certain Bachelor in Paradise couple's relationship. But, unfortunately for the former pair, Amanda Stanton has confirmed she Josh Murray split up and has ended the confusion for fans.

In a not-so-shocking move, Stanton made the announcement while she was at an event for the premiere of Nick Viall's Bachelor season. While speaking to Us Weekly at the event, Stanton said, "We did break up. It's been kind of a weird situation because we broke up and we didn't release a statement, obviously, so I think people have been kind of going crazy wondering if we're together or if we're not and we're not."

While fans didn't have an official answer until now, Stanton and Murray's social media posts showed signs that their relationship had come to an end. Stanton admitted to Us, "It wasn't something that I was trying to hide."

I figured that people who post so much about their love lives on social media would officially confirm a split in the same manner, but Stanton explained, "I just didn't know what the right time was to say something or really what to say about it. I think it's good to kind of set the record straight. Hopefully everyone can know the truth now."

Well, yeah. We definitely know what's up now. And I think that clarifying things was probably the best move for Stanton to make. Now that the fandom is in the know, people will stop questioning everything Murray and Stanton post on their social media pages and looking for answers, so now the former couple can really move on.

Another Bachelor couple has bitten the dust. It's sad, but sadly not surprising. The only thing I want to know at this point is whether Stanton has to give back her Neil Lane engagement ring that she got from Murray on Bachelor in Paradise.
