After allegations of misconduct halted production of Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, at least some of the cast is on their way back to Mexico now that filming is set to resume. Bachelor in Paradise contestant Amanda Stanton told E! News she was headed south of the border to shoot on Wednesday, June 21. "I'm excited to go back. I actually leave tonight to go back to Mexico," she said. (Although it seems she may have meant the following day, as she appeared on The Morning Breath Thursday morning.) Stanton admitted that she is nervous to resume filming and is also concerned about co-star Corrine Olympios. She said,

"I think there's a little hesitation because it's been so crazy and the whole scandal has been all over the media and it's been hard to know if you're doing the right thing. But I think if they're starting filming back up, I trust that they're doing the right thing."

The Bachelor in Paradise cast was flown home after a producer reportedly complained about witnessing an alleged nonconsensual sexual encounter between DeMario Jackson and Olympios. However, after conducting an internal investigation, Warner Bros. released a statement saying that there was no evidence to support any charges of misconduct and that filming would resume. The company also intends to "implement certain changes to the show's policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants," according to its statement.

Jackson and Olympios have both hired lawyers in regards to the situation. Jackson has said he would like to clear his name and that his character has been "assassinated"; Olympios has referred to herself a "victim" and her lawyer has noted that their investigation will continue.

Stanton said of her former castmate and friend:

"I've talked to Corinne. Corinne is one of my friends. I think it's probably difficult with all of this being so public, but I think she's doing OK. I think this thing is just unfortunate for everyone involved whether it's Corinne or DeMario or the producers. I think everybody probably wishes nothing ever happened."

Stanton said she's unaware of the specific changes Warner Bros. plans to make, but is ready to pick up where she left off. "They haven't said anything. I just pretty much got a call saying, 'We're going back.' So that's pretty much all I know."

Bachelor Nation will have to stay tuned to find out how Season 4 will unfold. Bachelor in Paradise will air this summer.
