America Ferrera's Pregnancy Announcement Is The Cutest Moment Of 2018 So Far

The new year is officially off to a good start thanks to some amazing news from one of your favorite TV stars. On New Year's Eve, America Ferrera announced she's expecting her first child with husband Ryan Piers Williams. The couple shared the news in an Instagram post that's so adorable, it might just win 2018 (no, it's not too soon to start accepting entrants). In the photo, Ferrera and Williams are both sporting snazzy 2018 glasses, and Ferrera is holding up a onesie that reads, "Más Besos (por favor)" — more kisses, please. Go ahead and start cooing now, because you know you want to.

Just to add another layer of cuteness, Ferrera gave the picture the absolute perfect caption. The actor wrote,

"We're welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MásBesos in the New Year! #babybesos #HappyNewYear"

The Superstore star and Williams celebrated 12 years together with a trip to Iceland in June. The couple has been married since 2011. Seeing them welcome a baby in 2018 is sure to be a highlight, but there's no word yet on when exactly Ferrera's little one is due to arrive. However, there's no doubt that the parents-to-be can't wait to meet the newest member of their family. Williams shared the same image on his Instagram with the caption, "Making room for new and beautiful things to come in 2018!"

Seriously, could this couple possibly be any cuter? (OK, to be fair, that question can't be answered until their baby gets here.)

In the meantime, Ferrera's famous friends are busy offering congratulations to the actor and activist on Twitter. Ferrera truly deserves all the happiness in the world. The 33-year-old spent 2017 tirelessly campaigning for the rights of women and immigrants. She took part in the Women's March on Washington, shared her own heartbreaking story as part of the #MeToo movement, and in March, she received the Human Rights Campaign Ally for Equality Award for her work with the LGBTQ+ community. She's also taking part in the newly announced Time's Up plan to fight sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond.

In addition to her activism, Ferrera is also the star of NBC's Superstore, and she's in pre-production on How to Train Your Dragon 3, so to say she's gearing up for a busy 2018 is an understatement. She's not going on this journey alone though. Not only does Ferrera have her husband, Williams, by her side, she'll also have one of her best friends too.

Shortly after Ferrera and Williams made their baby announcement, Ferrera shared a photo of her friend Vanessa Nadal, who just so happens to be Lin-Manuel Miranda's wife. Nadal and Miranda are expecting baby number two in 2018, and Ferrera sounds super excited to have one of her close friends to share this experience with. Ferrera captioned the photo of Nadal with "still twinning" — and if that doesn't give you major friendship goals, nothing will.

May 2018 bring nothing but joy for Ferrera, Williams, and their growing family. One thing is certain already, when it comes to amazing moms, this baby has totally lucked out, because Ferrera is already a boss person — so there's no doubt that this kid is going to have one of the coolest moms on the planet.
