Pending the imminent arrival of at least one — but, potentially, three — Kardashian babies, fans of the mega-famous Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan are hungry for information and desperate for answers. So, naturally, given the reported news of the youngest "K" expecting her first child (alongside sisters Kim and Kloe), restless inquirers are wondering if Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are still dating. Bustle has reached out to reps for Jenner and Scott about their relationship status, but did not yet receive a response.

The verdict, in a nutshell, is the pair seems to still be together. At least, that's what a KUWTK source told People in a speculative report examining the state of Jenner and Scott's relationship, which rolled out Dec. 8. The source (who remained anonymous) said that — in spite of the rapper's hectic touring schedule and the 20-year-old beauty tycoon's rumored decision to temporarily step out of the spotlight — the two "are absolutely still together and excited about the baby." Neither Scott nor Jenner has publicly confirmed the relationship or the pregnancy.

Whispers of Jenner's relationship with the 25-year-old rapper (previously billed as Travi$ Scott) have been floating around for six months or so — ever since the duo solidified their status as a "serious couple" with a pair of matching butterfly tattoos, which they each unveiled via their respective Snapchat stories this past June. The symbol seemed to hold some kind of deeper significance for the couple — Scott had just released his May 2017 track, "The Butterfly Effect," and social media conjecture stipulated that "butterfly" was the rapper's nickname for his new muse.

Jenner and Scott had only been together for about two months at the time, so their matching ink came as something of a shock to fans (many of whom had closely followed Jenner's high-profile, on-again, off-again relationship with rapper Tyga, which spanned the better part of three years).

Despite a choice handful of public displays of affection, Jenner and Scott have managed to lie unbelievably low for the duration of their relationship, which reportedly began in April 2017. Jenner's vaguely suggestive Instagram post from Coachella 2017 apparently sealed the deal. In the photo, Jenner and Scott are not conceivably interacting in any sort of romantic way, and the caption only reads "it's lit" — no caps, but Jenner's rabid social media following interpreted it as a sort of implicit affirmation that the two were indeed an item.

But the media buzz surrounding Jenner and Scott's relationship really picked up speed this past September, when multiple sources told People that Jenner and Scott were expecting their first child together — a rumored baby girl. And, while a fleeting bout of rumors briefly circulated re: the Kardashian-Jenner family's doubts about the couple's future, they've reportedly since been stamped out.

Still, according to People's latest anonymous KUWTK source, Jenner would still like to see some ramped-up TLC from her alleged baby daddy (that's tender loving care to you, Mr. Dollar Sign), especially with the child's rumored February due date drawing near. "Kylie and Travis spend very little time together," the unnamed source said. "Kylie is not happy about it. She wants Travis to be around more and help [with] preparing for the baby."

That doesn't seem like such a lofty request (both Jenner and Scott are about to be first-time parents, after all), especially given Jenner's commitment to the baby prep process. If the reports are true, the mom-to-be has taken the last several months as an opportunity to duck out of the public eye, mostly as a means of alternatively holing up in one of her four Calabasas and Calabasas-adjacent mansions and awaiting the arrival of her tiny bundle of joy. (Or, perhaps, all four mansions? The Kylie Cosmetics queen doubles as a sort of real estate mogul in her spare time.)

But, the source explained, Scott is only contracted for a few remaining tour dates before the end of the year, when he'll be able to take a decidedly well-timed holiday break. The source continued, "Kylie is hoping he will step things up once the tour is finished."

So, what will come of the elusive Jenner-Scott love affair? The jury's still out on that one. And, if the reality star's complete radio silence since her pregnancy news broke is any indication, it could be a long time coming before we hear anything from Jenner herself. But, rest assured, we'll be on the lookout for hints until then.
