The Opening Ceremony Glitter Vans Are Selling Fast

by Kali Borovic

If you're looking for a statement shoe for spring, then look no further. Opening Ceremony glitter-ized the classic Vans shoe, and you're going to fall in love as soon as you see it. Not only are the modern '90s kicks taking the social media world by storm, but they're selling fast IRL too. Are the Opening Ceremony Glitter Vans sold out, you ask? Let's just say that you don't have time to think twice about adding these shoes to your footwear collection.

Despite the $110 price tag and the somewhat unconventional look, people are dying to get their hands on glittery Vans. It turns out that all that glitters really isn't gold — it's pink, black, and blue as well. Opening Ceremony and Vans created the Glitter OG Old Skool Sneaker in all three of those colors. They're all equally as fabulous and selling just as fast too. Stop what you're doing and grab your wallet, because the only way to get in on the sparkly trend is to act fast.

As of Mar. 4 at 1 p.m. ET, just one day after launching, all three colors are almost completely sold out on the Opening Ceremony website. The shoe is unisex and based in men's sizes, so if women are looking to buy they'll have to use the size conversion chart to figure out what to order. That being said, many of the smaller size options for all three shoes are already sold out.

According to Opening Ceremony's Instagram post, this is the first time that Vans has ever had a completely glitter-covered shoe in their history. So it makes sense that people are freaking out over it. The pink ones seem to be the most popular, with all the small sizes currently sold out.

There's no word on whether or not Opening Ceremony's Glitter Vans will restock or not. Bustle reached out to the brand for comment. Keep those fingers crossed, people! If the glitter style isn't for you, the brand is also keeping the '90s trends alive with solid colored and cheetah print shoes as well.
