Ariana Grande's Manager Speaks Out About The Manchester Attack

As the world continues to process the horrific suicide bombing attack in Manchester, Ariana Grande's manager has a strong message for terrorists — love will always conquer hate. Scooter Braun posted a series of tweets on Thursday, May 25, in which he paid tribute to victims of terrorism and reminded his followers not to take their freedom for granted.

The 35-year-old wrote, "I welcome the differences of my neighbor, the wish of terrorism is to take away that feeling of freedom and joy. No. That is my answer. We can't allow it. Fear cannot rule the day."

Twenty-two people were killed and more than 50 were injured at Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena in England on Monday, May 22. Her Dangerous Woman world tour dates through June 5 have been canceled, her management shared in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. After the attack, the singer tweeted that she was "broken," and did not have the words to express her sorrow. Braun, however, was able to gather a bold statement in an attempt to inspire anyone connected to the attack to reclaim their joy.

The high-profile manager, who also represents Justin Bieber, acknowledged that while he is angry, he refuses to allow terrorists intimidate him into losing his joy. "If you think your cowardice act made us change how we live...sorry. All you did was make us appreciate every day," Braun wrote.

Finding light in the midst of darkness is a test of one's faith and resilience. Braun is intent on not allowing deep-seated hatred to take over his heart. Although fans, victims, and their families remain broken, Braun knows that by living fully, happily, and faithfully, terrorism will never win.
