Halloween was basically a week-long celebration this year, even managing to carry over after the holiday officially ended on Wednesday morning. But everyone should know by now that no holiday is officially over until Beyoncé says it's over, which is probably why Queen Bey waited until Friday to share all her Halloween pics from last weekend's celebrations. In case you somehow missed it, Beyoncé dressed up as Lil' Kim for Halloween 2017 and not only did she completely nail each inspired look, but she even got a stamp of approval from the rap legend herself.

Queen Bey honored the original Queen Bee by sporting five different costumes that were all inspired by some of Lil' Kim's more iconic looks, including a sheer ensemble the rapper wore to the 1999 Source Hip Hop Music Awards, her outfit from 1997's "The Rain" music video, a very bold, green outfit she wore during her 1997 No Way Out Tour, and two more looks from two of the rapper's past spreads in Today's Black Woman and Manhattan File magazines. And because this is Beyoncé, aka the queen of perfectionism, that we're talking about here, she paid homage by nailing every last detail of each outfit, including the way Lil' Kim accessorized and posed in most of the photos. Her rapper husband JAY Z accompanied her this past weekend obviously dressing up as The Notorious B.I.G. and it was literally perfect.

The Lemonade singer first shared the photos via her personal website on Friday, though they made their way to Instagram before she was even able to share them on her own account thanks to a plethora of reposts from fans and media outlets completely (and justifiably) obsessing over the look.

But perhaps the greatest honor of all was probably how extremely flabbergasted Lil' Kim was by the entire thing. The 42-year-old rapper shared her excitement by reposting the photos on Instagram and Twitter, mashing them up side-by-side with the photos of her iconic looks. She captioned one of the pics, "I’m still recovering from @beyonce's slayage from Halloween and then this happens... #beyonce #lilkim #queenbee #tookusabreak #beehive #lilkimseason."

Honestly, it'll probably take Kim a while to recover — or to find her wig, which she notes in this photo's caption is "all the way in China." Quite frankly you're not alone on this one, Lil' Kim.

Like many fans of both artists, the Queen Bee was mainly impressed by how closely Beyoncé was able to nail the resemblance of each look. Like, this took some serious dedication, people.

Of course, you can't even blame her for working so hard to get all the details right. If you're going to honor a fellow queen, you've got to go big or go home. And Queen Bey definitely delivered.

The pose. The fur coat. The blonde bob. The vampy lipstick. It's all in the details!

And Beyoncé's costume isn't the only one that the icon was floored by. She even reposted a photo that shows JAY Z's tribute to Biggie and mentioned in the caption that he perfectly captured the late rapper's mannerisms. "This is so adorable and it’s even cuter because Jay-Z and Biggie were friends and he has his mannerisms down pat. I [heart emoji] U Queen Bey and King Jay #beyonce #lilkim #tookusabreak #queenbee #lilkimseason #beehive," she wrote.

Beyoncé obviously isn't the first or only person to channel Lil' Kim for Halloween (ahem, Miley Cyrus), but she's certainly one of the best to do it so far. The rapper has donned so many iconic looks in the past that it was probably pretty difficult for Beyoncé to narrow things down and choose just five. Still, let's all just agree that Queen Bey's tribute to the Queen Bee definitely won Halloween this year.
