Bibiana Is. Not. Here. For. Krystal. On 'The Bachelor'

ABC

This season of The Bachelor (producers: Fallon Jethroe, Nikki Lazaran) seems so much more accelerated than the Bachelors of years past. Arie has already introduced a woman to his parents. He’s already given out a piece of jewelry from Neil Lane. Someone has already been to the hospital. And there’s already a big-time rivalry brewing. Bibiana shut Krystal down on The Bachelor, and many fans were here for her ultimate mic drop.

Krystal got the second one-on-one date of the season (because there have already been two!) and she brought home a rose. That meant that Krystal was safe and didn't need to monopolize Arie’s time during the cocktail hours and parties because she is living at the mansion for another week. There are plenty of women on the show, like Bibiana, for instance, that haven’t had any time or dates with Arie, and they need face time lest they get kicked off the show. Well, Krystal didn’t see it that way, deciding instead to interrupt numerous women over the course of the cocktail party in order to talk to Arie. Girl, you had your chance! Why are you trying to make enemies and go through with a futile effort? It's only going to cause drama.

Bibiana, especially, was not feeling it, and she let Krystal know, big-time. She confronted Krystal, and when Krystal feigned surprise at being called out, Bibiana said:

“Honestly, I think that when you learn to speak to me like a normal human being and not with a fake tone, then I can actually respect you and listen to what you have to say. But if you really think that I’m going to fall for this little … [imitates her]. You have to be kidding me.”

Then, though, Krystal tried to turn her interruptions as just being helpful, saying, “I meant it as no disrespect. I came in to check on you, I asked if you had enough time.” Then, Bibiana brought in the big guns. “To check on me? Baby girl, it’s not about checking,” Bibiana says. “If I’m trying to talk to my man, you need to back the f*ck up. That’s all I’ve got to say ... I really think at this point, nobody’s going to respect your time,” she says. “You just dug a big hole for yourself.”

Mic drop. Boom. Done. Krystal didn’t know what to do or say at that point, and although that declaration was a little much for the second episode of the show, Bibiana earned many fans on Twitter because of it.

Some Said It Was The Ultimate Mic Drop

It was pretty powerful.

Others Thought The Season Just Got Interesting

I think Arie is kind of boring, so at least I'll tune in for this.

More Than A Few Wanted a Friend In Bibiana

She's someone you'll want on your team.

Now, She's The Frontrunner For The One To Watch

The fan club is growing!

While this Bibiana/Krystal interplay is good for ratings, my fear is that the show will depend too much on their hating each other. Every season of The Bachelor needs some drama to make it interesting, but too much and it's Ashley I. and Kelsey all over again, with both stranded in the desert crying. (You know that right now, Bibiana and Krystal are shoo-ins for the dreaded two-on-one date.)

Previews for upcoming episodes show things escalating even further with these two, with Bibiana saying that she's going to "kill" Krystal. Yikes O'Malley. Let's hope that this contentious relationship is hyperbole, drummed up by the dramatic situation of being on The Bachelor, rather than two women fighting over a man. Everyone loses in that situation.
