The legendary Britney Spears has had plenty of iconic moments over the course of her career, many of which you might assume would be her proudest. How about when she returned to the MTV Video Music Awards stage after a nine-year absence to perform "Make Me" in 2016? Or what about when she won a Grammy for "Toxic" in 2005? Or perhaps one of her record-breaking world tours? Nope, none of the above. The career moment Britney Spears is most proud of is hitting a major milestone in her charity efforts for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. It was recently announced that by partnering with major donors, like Zappos and Live Nation, as well as donating a percent of ticket sales for her "Piece of Me" residency show in Vegas, Spears has raised more than $1 million dollars for the charity.

The organization reportedly plans to use the funds to build a a 16,000 square-foot facility to be called the Britney Spears Campus. According to Entertainment Tonight, it will offer more than 45 pediatric and adult services to cancer patients. "There are many things I've done in my career that I am proud of, but none more than this," Spears said in a statement to ET. "The fact that I was able to use my celebrity status to raise the money to build this incredible facility to help sick children and their families when they need it the most not only brings many tears to my eyes, but really brings tremendous meaning to this amazing journey that I have been on."

Isn't it awesome that Spears is more proud of her charitable achievements, rather than something tied directly to her musical career? It really shows how humble and genuine the star is, despite her major success. If anything ,it just gives fans yet another reason to love her.

In the press release announcing the fundraising milestone, Spears explained why the cause was so close to her heart. "My aunt Sandra died of cancer and I know the devastating effects that this terrible disease brings upon its victims and their loved ones," she said in the statement. Spears' aunt passed away back in 2007, according to People.

"When it happens to innocent young children," Spears continued, "there's literally nothing I can think of worse than that. I'm just glad that I can help in some small way. I want to thank the NCCF for the amazing work they do on a daily basis."

Seriously, what an incredible woman. Not only is she using her star power to support a great cause, but she's legitimately proud of how much she's been able to raise. It really doesn't get more awesome than that.
