Nominate An Accomplished Woman For The Bustle Upstart Awards

by Julie Alvin

For the third year in a row, Bustle's Upstart Awards are honoring young women who are doing incredible things in the realms of business, STEM, fashion and beauty, the arts, philanthropy, and beyond. Your BFF who started her own ethical handbag line? We want to know about her. The one who's helping candidates launch political campaigns despite not having yet reached the tender age of 30? Her, too. The one who's teaching young women how to write code so they can one day change the culture in Silicon Valley? Pass her our way. The young millennial who is spearheading microfinancing for women in the developing world? Yes, please.

We are looking for young women who are using their prodigious talents to make an impact, to do good, to change the world. Our 2017 nominees will get a trip to New York City for a fall 2017 event, a feature on Bustle, access to professional development tools and a community of accomplished women, and all sorts of other swag. Past honorees include Afghani journalist Mahnaz Rezaie, activist Daniela Fernandez, scientist Olivia Pavco-Giaccia, and artist Taylor Yocom.
