Less than two weeks into his role as communications director for the White House, Anthony Scaramucci has left his position. The news was surprising because of how recently he joined the Trump team, and a number of celebrities have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Scaramucci's departure. No one can resist commenting on this one.

On Monday, July 31, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement confirming that Scaramucci was no longer the communications director, but she wasn't clear on whether or not Scaramucci would take on a different role in the White House or not.

"Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team," the statement reads. "We wish him all the best."

President Donald Trump announced that he had appointed Scaramucci to the role of communications direction on July 21. It was later that day that former press secretary Sean Spicer announced his own resignation. Since his appointment, Scaramucci has frequently been in the headlines for things he's said and done. Notably, a conversation between Scaramucci and New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza was published in which he used vulgar language when referring to fellow White House staffers. He also he threatened to "fire everyone" in the White House staff in order to stop press leaks when speaking with reporters.

Although he has only been president for six months, Trump has had a number of high profile departures from his staff. Scaramucci was the second of two people to serve as communications director. Mike Dubke, who was Trump's first communications director, resigned back in May.

Here's what the celebs are saying about Trump firing Scaramucci:

Celebrities aren’t the only ones making jokes about Scaramucci’s brief, 10 day stint as communications director in the White House, and the memes people are sharing on Twitter are pretty hilarious, too.
