Cheddar Teams Up With Vanity Fair & Condé Nast

by Amy Mackelden

Cheddar, the business news marketplace for millennials, is teaming up with Vanity Fair and Condé Nast Entertainment for a brand new, live, weekly half-hour series called “VF Hive on Cheddar.” This is an exciting collaboration for Bustle board member Jon Steinberg's startup Cheddar, which has already been dubbed the "CNBC for Millennials." The new series will premiere on Feb. 19, 2017, and will broadcast from the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the Sprint Flatiron Building Store, where Cheddar's studios are based.

According to the official press release, "VF Hive on Cheddar" will focus on the most important events in "business, politics, and technology." The series will be available across a number of platforms, including on Cheddar and Vanity Fair’s Facebook Live, on Sling TV and Amazon, and across Condé Nast’s digital network.

Steinberg, CEO of Cheddar, is clearly delighted by the new collaboration, saying in the release:

Vanity Fair is the gold standard of culture reporting... I look forward to toasting our partnership with the Vanity Fair Hive team over Taco Bowls and Tower cocktails at the Trump Grill in the coming week.

Bustle hosted its own show on Cheddar in 2016 called "Extra Sharp," focusing on pop culture and trending news stories. This latest venture for Cheddar "will feature reporters and editors from Vanity Fair."

“VF Hive on Cheddar” starts on Feb. 19, 2017, and airs live from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. (EST) every Thursday.
