Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the series franchise, has tweeted his "thoughts and prayers" to co-star Carrie Fisher, who reportedly suffered a "massive heart attack" while on an airplane Friday. Almost immediately after the news broke, Mayhew tweeted to Fisher, calling her "everyone's favorite princess." (Fisher, of course, played Princess Leia in the Star Wars films.) Bustle has reached out to Fisher's rep, but has not heard back at the time of publication.

Update, 10:27 p.m. EST: Fisher is reportedly currently in intensive care and her condition remains "unknown," according to Entertainment Tonight. Despite earlier reports, her brother, Todd, told ET, "We certainly do not know her condition, that's why she is in ICU. I'm sure everyone wants to speculate, but now is not the time for that."

Update, 7:23 p.m. EST: The Associated Press reported that Fisher is now in stable condition, according to her brother Todd Fisher. He told AP that she is "out of emergency" and stabilized, but he could not disclose further information.

Earlier: "Thoughts and prayers for our friend and everyone's favorite princess right now.. @carrieffisher," Mayhew tweeted. He joins already dozens of other celebrities who have tweeted and are sending Fisher their strongest prayers in the midst of this incident. Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Gwendoline Christie tweeted, "@carrieffisher The whole world is sending you so much love! Sending you the universes most powerful Force."

According to TMZ, Fisher suffered a heart attack while flying from London to L.A., 15 minutes before the plane landed. The site reports that she was given CPR and was rushed to the hospital as soon as they landed. The LA Times reports that Fisher is in critical condition.

YouTube star Anna Akana claims to have been on the flight and seated near Fisher, and tweeted about the incident. "she wasn't breathing for 10 minutes or so," read one of her tweets. "They were administering CPR up until we landed."

May the force be with Carrie Fisher at this most serious time.
