This Louboutin Lipstick Costs $90 But It's Also An Ornament, So At Least There's That

If holiday season decadence isn't for you, the rage you're about to feel over this product will be next level. However, if there can never be too much opulence in your life, brace yourself. Christian Louboutin's $90 lipstick ornament (yes, I said $90) is either the product you desperately need or the pricey material for your next rage sesh. Regardless of your feelings about the price tag, however, these lipstick ornaments are undeniably gorgeous.

If beautiful names and jaw-dropping packaging really does for you, you might just drop $90 you don't have after seeing photos of the holiday lip ornaments. And the beauty of the products might just justify the credit card debt a single tube of lipstick will cause. Well, maybe.

The Louboutin ornament lipsticks come in two shades— the Rouge Louboutin Metalissime Loubilaque Lip Lacquer and the Rouge Louboutin Metalissime Silky Satin Lip Color. They just sound perfect, right? The lipsticks are a stunning metallic red and pink, respectively, with the lacquer boasting a "patent leather" finish.

While no swatches have emerged just yet, the holiday product is actually a new take on an old favorite. According to the Sephora website, "Christian Louboutin puts a playful holiday twist on his iconic Rouge Louboutin." Oh la la.

Both of the lipsticks retail for a cool $90. If you're set on giving your Christmas tree a beauty theme, you'll be shelling out $180 if you want both lippies.

The real question, however, is whether or not Louboutin fans will actually use the lipsticks or just simply collect them. The lipsticks, which are also joined by a holiday nail polish shade that costs $50, are both limited edition items. But for Louboutin fans, the products could be considered collector's pieces. In fact, the blurb from the brand on Sephora's website explains that the lipstick is, "Inspired by his passion for gifting objets d’art that are as worthy of display as their enjoyment..."

While these are lipsticks, they're also luxury art pieces. Is $90 getting any easier to spend?

Of course, with a $90 price tag, the lipsticks would have to come in equally as stunning packaging, right? Not only are the components of the lipstick beautiful with their golden, textured tops and glossy bottoms, but the boxes that they arrive in are equally stunning. Both lipsticks come in black lacquer jewelry boxes that the Louboutin logo on top.

If you are considering purchasing the luxury lipsticks, they are only available on Sephora's website. But the good news is that these beauties, of course, qualify for free shipping. So hey, that's a little savings at least, right?

While reactions to the recent holiday launches haven't started rolling in, the consensus on Louboutin lipsticks over all focuses almost solely on the luxury price tag. After all, just think about how many meals at Taco Bell you could buy for $90.

Granted, if you're buying Louboutin lipstick, maybe you've upgraded to Chipotle.

If you've got nice lipsticks, living life indebted to Christian Louboutin is worth it, right?

These lipsticks are so decadent that fans will thank them for inflicting pain. Yes, it's that serious.

Considering the limited edition status of the pricey pair of lipsticks, getting them before the holiday season rolls around could be a good call. These lipsticks know no bounds. You can use them to decorate your Christmas tree and have the most luxurious, fab tree ever. You can have them sit on your vanity looking like your lipstick collection's MVP. You can even rock the gorgeous colors IRL to holiday parties.

For $90, they'll definitely be a prized possession no matter how they're used.
