Did Justin Bieber Actually Headbutt Somebody?

It's a good thing that Justin Bieber is no stranger to saying sorry. Us Weekly reported that Bieber was allegedly involved in a headbutting incident during a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the event took place on Saturday, Feb. 11, wherein the singer was playfully messing around with Disney actor of That's So Raven fame, Kyle Massey. It seems that Bieber caught wind that a restaurant employee at the venue (Serafina in West Hollywood) was recording him and things reportedly unraveled from there. Bustle reached out to Bieber’s legal rep for comment, but has not received a response at the time of publication.

Reportedly Bieber asked the employee to stop and insisted that he delete the video, according to TMZ. The employee allegedly didn't take well to that instruction, so Bieber allegedly headbutted him in response. According to the report, Bieber promptly left. (It does not sound like he exited by telling the employee to "go love himself," but in a perfect world, that would have happened as well.)

Also per TMZ, a separate restaurant staffer (not the alleged headbutting victim) reportedly called the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. By the time the police arrived, Bieber had reportedly already exited the venue, where his producer and comrade Poo Bear (not to be confused with the fictitious Pooh Bear) was hosting.

But, wait — let's back up for a hot sec. This alleged incident happened before the Grammys. And despite being nominated for Best Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Love Yourself," and Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for Purpose, Bieber wasn't at the 2017 Grammys. So, what was he doing at a pre-Grammys party?

Last week, TMZ reported that Bieber allegedly decided to not attend the 2017 Grammys because he "just doesn't think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers." I guess it's safe to say that Bieber doesn't hold these same feelings for a pre-Grammys party. Or maybe just parties in general.

In fact, in lieu of the Grammys, Bieber apparently headed out on the town to eat sushi, according to one fan on Twitter. (It looks like this would have been after the alleged scuffle.)

The alleged victim reportedly doesn't want to press charges on the Biebs, but according to TMZ, a "battery investigation" is allegedly underway. However, Director of Public Relations for Serafina, Caroline McBride, claimed to Us Weekly that no one from their staff was involved and that they did not call the police. She also added, "We always have pleasant experiences with Mr. Bieber whenever he comes to Serafina.”

Additionally, an insider told Us that Bieber was minding his own business that night, and that he "definitely seemed to be the victim." The source claimed, "He was enjoying his night with his friends. Whoever went after Justin must have been out to get him.”

So many questions: Did the alleged headbutt happen or not? Was Bieber, in fact, the victim? Why was Biebs at the pre-Grammys party in the first place if he had no intention of showing up to the Grammys? Does his producer and friend Poo Bear call him Christopher Robin?

The world may never know.
