Known for his role in the Disney XD series Zeke and Luther, Adam Hicks was arrested on suspicion of allegedly carrying out a string of armed robberies with reported girlfriend and fellow actor Danni Tamburro early on Wednesday, Jan. 25, according to The Hollywood Reporter and as confirmed to Bustle by the Burbank Police Department. Hicks has also appeared in the films How to Eat Fried Worms and Lemonade Mouth, as well as the Hulu show Freakish. Tamburro isn't as well known as Hicks, but was in an episode of Shameless as "Female Cashier" and in the TV movie Becca on Call. The two actors are currently being held on bail at the Burbank City Jail. Bustle reached out to a rep and manager for Hicks and to Tamburro via her website, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.

Hicks and Tamburro as suspected to have allegedly targeted four victims in Burbank, California. The first alleged report of robbery occurred just after five in the morning, which led to an investigation during which three additional reports of robberies occurred. All of the reported incidents involved victims who were out for an early morning walk in their local community. The victims all described the alleged suspects' car as a dark colored Kia with two occupants, and also provided similar descriptions of the alleged male suspect.

Sergeant Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department shared a release with Bustle confirming Hicks' and Tamburro's arrest. According to the release,

Those suspects have been identified as Adam Hicks, a 25-year-old resident of Burbank, and Danni Tamburo, a 23-year-old female, also of Burbank. Tamburo was the driver of the suspect vehicle during the commission of the robberies. Hicks and Tamburo were placed under arrest and booked into the Burbank City Jail for armed robbery. They are both being held on $350,000 bail and are due in court on Friday.

The news release describes an incident that involved a 52-year-old man who was allegedly approached by a male who was armed with a handgun. "The suspect pointed the handgun at the victim and demanded his wallet," the release explains. "Fearing for his life, the victim ran away and was able to escape to safety."

After a witness spotted the alleged suspect's vehicle, police found and searched the car, which allegedly contained stolen property that included items belonging to one of the robbery victims. Later in the day, detectives entered a private residence where they arrested Hicks and Tamburro.

The Burbank Police Department describes the events of the afternoon as follows:

At approximately 1:15 P.M., Burbank Police Detectives were led to a home believed to be linked to the suspects, located in the 1800 block of North Niagara Street. Due to the nature of the crimes, members of the Burbank Police Department S.W.A.T. Team assisted in serving a search warrant on the residence. A male and female were detained at the home, believed to be the suspects in the robberies.

The police note that additional alleged stolen property was discovered inside the home during the search. The news release also notes that none of the robbery victims were injured during the alleged incidents.

As CBS Los Angeles reports, Hicks and Tamburro's social media activity suggests the two were romantically involved, however their relationship has not been confirmed. For instance, earlier in January, Tamburro posted a photo of herself and Hicks to Instagram and put a heart emoji in the caption.

TMZ reports that Hicks has two prior arrests on his record. Both incidents occurred in Los Angeles last year. Hicks was arrested for allegedly "firing a gun" in July, and was arrested again in September for alleged battery. According to TMZ, the LA District Attorney "rejected both cases for insufficient evidence."
