How To Make DIY Heart Eye Emoji Cups

Kirsten Nunez

If you are anything like most people, you take emoji very seriously. And if you also love to host parties, these DIY heart eye emoji cups are going to make you swoon. They are fun, quirky, and so freakin’ adorable. The best part is that they are insanely easy to make — promise. You only need basic supplies and simple skills to create these charming party cups. Arts and crafts do not always have to be complicated, people.

It does not hurt that they are easy on the wallet, too. Try making them for birthday parties or Galentine’s Day celebrations. But you do not even need a real reason or event, of course. Make them just for the heck of it. They can literally turn any frown upside down. I have a feeling kids will adore these DIY emoji cups as well.

While they are excellent for holding delicious party drinks, you do not have to stop there. They can also work as snack cups. Try filling them up with popcorn, trail mix, or pudding. And if you are really feeling the emoji décor, apply the same technique to bowls, coasters, or balloons. Basically, you can turn everything into a heart eye emoji if you set your heart (eye) to it.

And you're done! How darn cute are these? Repeat the tutorial until you have created the number of cups needed. If you want to make more eco-friendly versions, use real cups or jars. Double stick tape is handy for temporarily sticking on the heart eyes and black paper mouth.
