Erika Jayne Absolutely Crushes Her Christina Aguilera Impression On 'Lip Sync Battle'

In just a few short hours, it'll be on like a pair of leather chaps in the “Dirrty” music video. On Thursday, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Erika Girardi will appear on Lip Sync Battle along with actor Taye Diggs, where they'll pretend to sing some Christina Aguilera hits — in front of Christina Aguilera. In a new clip of the forthcoming episode, Erika Jayne lip syncs to Xtina's “Fighter” while the singer is seated on a throne in the middle of the stage. It really is everything a Real Housewives fan could ever want out of an Erika Jayne Lip Sync Battle performance — and then some.

In the preview, the Beverly Hills Housewife stomps all over the Lip Sync Battle stage, as she wails along with Xtina's 2002 song. (Er, pretends to wail. But hey, it's quite convincing.) She delivers a capital-P Performance, and everyone watching — including Aguilera — is absolutely beside themselves.

Yes, Erika Jayne of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills really pretends to sing an Xtina hit in front of the Christina Aguilera, and this moment is going to be on TV. Oh, and as if all of that wasn't enough magic for one television program, Xtina also happens to be perched atop a heart-shaped chair and wearing a pair of fire engine red thigh-high pleather boots the whole time. Granted, Erika Jayne's strong showing in this snippet shouldn't surprise anyone who knows anything about the Beverly Hills Housewife. In addition to being a reality star, a guest on a soap opera, a former Dancing with the Stars contestant, and an author, Erika Jayne is also a chart-topping dance music artist who knows a thing or two about delivering a stellar performance. This is her lane, and her Xtina impression is the stuff of Real Housewives fans' dreams.

Speaking of the Bravolebrity’s illustrious music career, this episode of Lip Sync Battle was not Xtina's first visit to the Erika Jayne stage show rodeo. Back in 2016, Erika Jayne sang at the “Come On Over” icon’s birthday extravaganza. As the Real Housewife told Andy Cohen at the RHOBH Season 7 reunion, Aguilera reached out to her to ask if she'd play at her party, a request that still seems too beautiful to be real. Oh, and several months before the birthday soirée, Xtina posted a video on Snapchat of herself lip syncing along to Erika Jayne track “How Many F*cks?” Wow, yet another thing that seems too beautiful to be real.

So, to recap: Xtina has lip synced to Erika Jayne, Erika Jayne has lip synced to Xtina, and their mutual fandom is a wonderful thing. Can these two legends combine their talents and record a duet together already? Is that really too much to wish for?

Anyway, this Aguilera-themed episode really is shaping up to be an iconic installment of Lip Sync Battle. As incredible as Erika's version of "Fighter" seems to be, her opponent really played to win, too. Just like the the clip of the “PAINKILLR” singer’s performance, the clip of Diggs’s routine is a superb tribute to Queen Xtina. Judging from the preview of his rendition of Aguilera's 2006 jam “Candyman,” the voters sure had their work cut out for them.
