For every one controversial Super Bowl halftime show performer, there are five that seem to bridge the gaps between generations. After all, a ton of people watch the Super Bowl every year, and they come from all backgrounds, ages, races, creeds, and countries. Choosing one person to entertain them all for 20 minutes has got to be tough — that’s why I think that Lady Gaga is an excellent choice to helm the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show. She’s moved on from the meat dresses and has really expanded her musical range — I mean, look at all the songs Lady Gaga performed at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show.

One of the best things about Lady Gaga is that although she’s a real showman, she has the singing and acting chops to back up the stage antics. Her newest album, Joanne, is so stripped down that it really helps you remember how Lady Gaga got so famous in the first place — girl can sing! And write! There were obviously newer songs from Lady Gaga at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, but no need to fret, Gaga fans of 2009! Lady Gaga does nothing halfway, and that includes her show at halftime.

She started off with a rousing, patriotic rendition of "God Bless America" and "This Land Is Your Land" while standing on the roof of NRG Stadium before bouncing into her hits. Here they are:

"Poker Face"

"Born This Way"

"Telephone"

"Just Dance"

"Million Reasons"

"Bad Romance"

Damn, did Lady Gaga fit a lot of songs and choreography into her halftime show or what? Gaga has always been a showman of epic proportions, and her Super Bowl halftime show definitely did not disappoint. Go, Gaga!
