Here’s The Full List Of Everything Leaving & Coming To Netflix In September 2018

Liz Minch

The never-ending heat wave that is Summer of 2018 is finally coming to an end, and with Fall's imminent arrival, so comes new titles to Netflix. And, with everything leaving and coming to Netflix in September of 2018, boredom is not on the agenda in this new season. This month, fans of the streaming site can expect a lot of excellent slumber party material, with early 2000s classics like Bruce Almighty and Spider-Man 3 joining Netflix streaming. So don't worry — you'll be prepared to settle into the fall season with the perfect line-up of amazing TV shows and movies to watch over and over again.

Of course, it's just as sad to see some beloved classics leave as it is exciting to see other new ones come in, but that's the beauty of Netflix. Things are always changing, which makes us appreciate the options we have while we can — because you never know when they're going to be taken away. Luckily, this month in particular provides some great options that'll help any departures sting just a little bit less.

So before September hits, check out the vast array of amazing things you have to look forward to below as well as the things we'll be forced to part with, at least for now.

Let's start with 15 of the most exciting selections that'll be heading to the streaming service:

1. Bruce Almighty (Sept. 1)

What do you do when you're given all of God's powers? If you're Jim Carrey, you deliver one heck of a performance.

2. Groundhog Day (Sept. 1)

Sure it's a little repetitive, but when Bill Murray is involved, can you really go wrong?

3. Scarface (Sept. 1)

This is one offer that's impossible to refuse.

4. The Breakfast Club (Sept. 1)

This rag tag group of teens put aside their cliques for one day in detention and discover that they have a lot more in common than they ever realized.

5. The River Wild (Sept. 1)

Further proof that Meryl Streep really can do anything.

6. Two Weeks Notice (Sept. 1)

Because watching Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock fall in love never really gets old.

7. Pearl Harbor (Sept. 1)

This was the ultimate love triangle before love triangles were really even a thing.

8. Nacho Libre (Sept. 1)

It stars Jack Black: need we say more?

9. August Rush (Sept. 1)

You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll marvel at how young and adorable Freddie Highmore used to be.

10. Sydney White (Sept. 1)

Don't be afraid to embrace your inner-tween with this Amanda Bynes classic.

11. Lilo & Stitch (Sept. 2)

Two best friends who could not be more different or more perfect for each other. This one never fails to warm your heart and appreciate family all the more.

12. The Emperor's New Groove (Sept. 2)

As the perfect Disney balance of heart and humor, this is one film the whole family will love.

13. Black Panther (Sept. 4)

Wakanda forever!

14. Click (Sept. 7)

Adam Sandler delivers a heartfelt performance about a guy who learns that fast-forwarding through your life is no way to live. Sometimes you need to press pause on work and live in the moment with those you love most.

15. A Wrinkle in Time (Sept. 25)

This A-list cast is almost as magical as the movie itself. A definite must-see for all fantasy lovers.

So, that's the best of what's coming to Netflix this September. But before we move on to the full list of everything coming and going, let's take a moment to honor 15 of the most saddest departures that will be disappearing from Netflix in the upcoming month:

1. 13 Going On 30 (Sept. 1)

Quite possibly Jennifer Garner's best performance to date, this adorable rom-com never fails to lift your spirits and make you appreciate youth while it lasts.

2. Batman Begins (Sept. 1)

Despite what the title suggests, this is the end of Batman's reign on Netflix.

3. Dead Poets Society (Sept. 1)

O Captain, my Captain, we are not ready to see you leave our Netflix queue so soon.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (Sept. 1)

This film is falling into the depths of Davy Jones' locker. RIP.

5. Forgetting Sarah Marshall (Sept. 1)

May we never forget all the laughs this classic gave us.

6. Ghostbusters (Sept. 1)

Who are we going to call now?

7. Just Friends (Sept. 1)

Because anything involving Ryan Reynolds is worth missing.

8. The Dark Knight (Sept. 1)

By far the best Batman movie of the Christopher Nolan franchise, Dark Knight reminds us that even a smile can sometimes be downright terrifying.

9. Hotel for Dogs (Sept. 1)

You had me at the word "dog."

10. Joyful Noise (Sept. 1)

Two words: Queen Latifah.

11. Man on Wire (Sept. 1)

Both visually stunning and positively terrifying, this shocking acrobatics display is impossible to look away from. That is, until it gets removed from Netflix.

12. Rules of Engagement Seasons 1-7 (Sept. 11)

Where are we supposed to get our David Spade fill now?

13. Pete's Dragon (Sept. 14)

So long, Elliott! You will be missed.

14. A Star Is Born (Sept. 15)

At least we can take solace in knowing the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga adaptation will be in theaters in October.

15. The Imitation Game (Sept. 28)

Less Benedict Cumberbatch is never a good thing, but at least we still have Doctor Strange, right?

And now for the full list of everything leaving and coming to Netflix in September of 2018. May you marathon to your heart's content.
