In the wake of reports that Chester Bennington has died after committing suicide, many have flocked to Twitter to mourn the late musician and cope with the devastating loss. Some expressed shock, others recalled how much his music meant to them, and several fans began tweeting Bennington's Linkin Park lyrics to honor his impressive legacy.

According to ABC News, Bennington was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Thursday morning. A coroner spokesman told the outlet that authorities were investigating his death as an apparent suicide, but that no further details were available at the time. (Bustle reached out to a rep for the band and to the LAPD, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.)

Bennington was 41. He left behind a wife, six children, and an extensive catalog of music. Since forming in the mid-'90s, Linkin Park has released seven albums, sold millions of records, and won two Grammys. Their most recent effort, One More Light, arrived in May and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The band was currently on tour and scheduled to play a show on Thursday night in Massachusetts.

Now, as fans continue to grapple with the loss of Bennington, they've turned to his trove of songs for solace.
