There's A New Baby Spice In Town

Say hello to the newest Baby Spice. No, no, don't worry — no one is actually replacing Emma Bunton. Instead, Spice Girls alum Geri Halliwell Horner gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday, Jan. 21. She shared the good news all over her social media pages. Her son, Montague George Hector Horner, has a name that has (pop) royalty written all over it. Seriously, that is a major moniker.

In case you're keeping track at home, this is baby number two for Horner. She has a 10-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna. She sure has a tendency for choosing unique names, huh? However, baby Montague (or "Monty" for short, as she already lovingly nicknamed him) is her first kid with husband Christian Horner — making it an all the more exciting occasion. The pair got married in May 2015.

Considering he's been alive for less than 24 hours, but already has made an appearance on Instagram, fans don't have to worry about getting to watch little Montague grow up. And I'm sure it is heartwarming for '90s kids everywhere to witness Horner welcome a new bundle of joy into the Spice World. I secretly hope that she sings Monty "Spice Up Your Life" and other girl-power jams as lullabies every night. Because, of course.

And in case my previous assertion that there's a "new Baby Spice" made you nervous, fear not. Bunton recently helped Horner celebrate her baby shower. It was a sweet photo moment that serves as proof that those lyrics were correct — "friendship never ends."

See? The original Baby Spice is still in the picture — literally. Bunton is right in the middle. But I mean, based on the fact Horner's new baby is already a social media star, he may give her a run for her money.

Just kidding, there's always room for multiple Spices in this world. Welcome, Montague.
