Harry Styles Announces His First Solo Tour

All right party people, I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that your common law boyfriend Harry Styles has announced his first solo tour. Seems great, right? Well, the bad news is that he's making tragically few stops for an international tour, and a lot of fans are really bummed about it.

The tour kicks off a solid four months after his self-titled solo album is released on May 12 and doesn't wrap up until Dec. 8. But he covers a lot of ground in between, so a lot of cities are getting skipped. It can feel like a hurtful omission, after everything you and Styles have shared together, but console yourself with the fact that your boy is hitting four continents in less than three months. He's visiting as many of you as he can, truly.

The way I choose to think about it is that this is Styles' first set of concerts as a solo artist. He won't have the boys of One Direction on the road with him, and he'll probably get pretty lonely. So I like to imagine that he's trying to bang out the Harry Styles Live On Tour as quickly as he can so he can hustle back to our life together. That makes me a lot more sympathetic to the fact that he has just 13 shows in North America before jetting off to Europe, where he has 10, and then on to Asia and Oceania, where he has a mere three shows each.

American fans have two chances to catch him on the West Coast, in Los Angeles or San Francisco, and three on the East Coast, in New York City, Boston, and Washington, DC. Then, there's smattering in between, in cities like Chicago, Nashville, and Atlanta. It leaves a lot of fans out of the loop, which is a definite bummer.

There's always a possibility that demand will be great enough that he'll add more dates or extend the tour, but, in the meantime, here are the 13 countries lucky enough to be blessed with one of Styles' 29 shows on the Harry Styles Live On Tour.
