It's a really exciting time to be a Harry Styles fan, guys. Not only is his first single out, but he's also about to make his solo debut on Saturday Night Live... and now, more details about his music have finally been released. On Thursday morning, Styles dropped his solo album date, track listing, and cover art, and it already has fans talking — but not in a way you might expect. Now that we have the titles of every song on the album, fans think Styles' song "Ever Since New York" could be about Taylor Swift, and even though it's kind of out there, the theory actually does make a little sense.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that I adore Swift and Styles in (almost) equal measure, and when they were dating, I wasn't that jealous — I just really, really wanted them to get married and have a bunch of curly headed babies. Needless to say, their breakup was killer, so the prospect of a song with more details about their relationship is getting me even more pumped for this album than I already was.

But since all we have so far is a song title to go off of, it's a little presumptuous to think that it could be about Swift. Even so, fans on Twitter are freaking out.

Some are already 100 percent convinced that "Ever Since New York" has to be about Swift:

Some are tying this to our nation's current political issues:

And some really don't think that Swift has anything to do with the song at all.

Personally, I see how it could go either way. Being that Taylor Swift moved to and proclaimed her love for New York in recent years, there's a good chance that's where a good part of her love story with Styles took place. Besides, if it's a diss track — or even if Styles just wants Swift and his fans to know the song is about her — putting "New York" in the title is a very effective, blatant way to do it.

But before anyone gets too excited, it wouldn't be that shocking if the song wasn't about Swift. After all, it's been years since they've dated, so I have a feeling he's experienced a few other relationships since then that he might want to write about. Maybe the ship has sailed on Swift-related music?

If you need me, I'll be here, impatiently waiting for May 12. The only way we'll find out for sure is by listening to the actual song, and even then, it might not be clear. Fingers crossed Styles eventually decides to explain himself so we can figure out this debate for once and for all.
