Here’s What Kim Kardashian Was Really Thinking During That Jaclyn Hill YouTube Tutorial

Kim Kardashian West has been a busy woman as of late. From launching KKW Beauty to filming YouTube tutorials with a plethora of gurus, she's got a lot on her plate. One of those tutorials, however, caused a bit of an internet kerfuffle. Kim Kardashian West and Jaclyn Hill's tutorial had the internet trolls out in full force, but in a Q&A session on her website, KKW revealed what she was really thinking while the pair were filming their YouTube tutorial.

After the video was posted to Hill's YouTube, people began to insinuate that Kardashian West was annoyed by the YouTube personality based solely on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's more quiet demeanor. While it was a stretch to say the least, Hill took the commentary in stride with her typical self-deprecating humor, even retweeting one of the memes that came from the controversy.

Now, Kardashian West has spoken out about the drama, and she's coming to Hill's defense. In a True or False session with assistant Stephanie Shepard, she's directly asked about the validity of claims that she gave "side eye" to Hill through the video. Kardashian West explains, "Oh my god, guys, that was my first YouTube makeup tutorial on someone else's channel, I was nervous. Like, I didn't know what to say, so I'm quiet, just following her lead. I'm not the most energetic person any way. I mean, that's like a major fact, and I love how energetic she is."

Of course, some may argue that Kardashian West is only attempting to smooth over a situation that could make her look shady. That doesn't seem to be the case. Kardashian West more than likely has full control over the things she's asked about in this video. Clearly, she wanted to address the negativity Hill faced after their video.

In the video, Kardashian West continues, "So I just hated all of those like stupid things people were coming up with cause I was like 'oh come on.' She was the nicest, and I didn't even feel that way."

Clearly, there's no bad blood between Hill and Kardashian, and there never was. Now, can everyone just get back to loving makeup? Isn't that what it's all about anyway?
