Award season is in full swing, and people's favorite stars are gracing red carpet after red carpet. It's clearly a great time to be alive, am I right? If you want to see your favorite stars, though, you'll need to know how to watch the 2017 Oscars red carpet on tv so you don't miss a thing. After all, it would be kind of a travesty if you missed Emma Stone's stunning gown, Chrissy Teigen's red carpet charm, or the gorgeous and talented cast of Hidden Figures.

If you've been a long time fan of the Oscars red carpet, you may know that coverage varies. However, you'll also probably know that if you want a full day of red carpet coverage on television, the E! network is a great option. E!'s red carpet coverage is set to span for a nearly seven hours. Since their red carpet show begins at 1:30 pm ET and continues until the start of the Oscars themselves at 8:30 pm ET, you'll get a ton of comprehensive knowledge of just about everything Oscars related.

However, E! is not the only place to catch televised red carpet coverage. If you're looking for shorter, more concise looks at the red carpet, ABC may be for you. Their coverage lasts from 7 pm ET until the start of the show an hour later. It's perfect if you don't have an entire day to devote to the Oscars.

This year, the Oscars will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and while they'll be star studded and great to watch, it's the red carpet that draws my attention. From the makeup trends that will develop from stars' looks to the gorgeous gowns, I would make the argument that it's the real show.

If the Golden Globes are any indication, the stars will seriously be shining on the 2017 Oscars red carpet.

Fans of Natalie Portman's performance in Jackie will get to see if she chooses to channel the film's namesake again.

Maybe it's Viola Davis you'd like to see. Her stunning yellow gown was nearly as gorgeous as she is.

No matter who you'd like to see this year, the Oscars red carpet is totally watchable on your television. No matter what kind of coverage you're seeking, you'll find it.
